Our philosophy is that a comprehensive audiological evaluation is the first step in getting help for your hearing problems. At Family Hearing Services, we evaluate each patient's hearing through a comprehensive examination. If hearing aids are indicated, we will offer you sufficient information to determine what style and technology will work well for you.
Our unique fitting process helps us determine an overall picture of your listening needs and instrument style preferences, as well as your budget. There is no one brand or style of hearing aid that works best for everyone. This is why our education as clinical audiologists is vital to hearing aid fitting success.
Most of the time, we can allow you to take a set of hearing aids home on a trial basis for two weeks. That way, you can be sure that the hearing aids are going to work for you before you purchase them. It is a stress free way to be sure you have made the right decision for you. In some instances, you can even take one set, and if those don't work for you, then you can try a different set, because we want you to feel good about your final decision. We also try very hard to work within your budget, so please feel free to tell us if you are on a restricted budget. Sometimes we can even fit you with used hearing aids, to help save you money.
